Type II diabetes is a lifestyle disease and as such CAN be reversed. I was diagnosed as a Type II four years ago and put on oral medication. After detoxing using homeopathy and using changing the what I eat, my blood sugar levels are now down to pre-diabetic/ non- diabetic levels. I have stopped all meds since Jan 2010. My meds were Metformin 500mg three times a day as well as Gliclazide 80mg twice a day. my latest blood test done in May by the doctors showed my HbA1c at 6.5 and my FBS at 5.3 I eat as much as I want now, when I want and occasionally eat the sinful foods like ice cream and my sugar is regulated. I am interested in your experiences too. Please let us all know how you control your diabetes. Thank you ukhomoeopath

Hi all,
1st post. I am working to have the same results noted by the admin who started this thread. I watch what I eat and choose high fiber, low carb, little meat meals. I do not have a current A1C but am typically in the 130-180 range when tested. I do peak as high as 300 when eating sugary items.
I am currently supplementing with Blood Sugar Formula & Daily Extra by Vitalogic as well as a 10k-iu Vitamin D3. No meds right now as I have some side effects I want to do without.
I also take an l-arginine supplement (ProArgi-9 Plus) for the CVD prevention and glucose regulation benefits.
Any thoughts? I open to all homeopathic suggestions.

~A Hello For someone NOT taking medication, your readings are quite high. Personally, I would advice you to seek medical attention as 300 after meals is very high. I take it, the 130-180 is fasting (12hrs after dinner)? Again, high for someone with no meds. Do you find that without the supplements you are currently taking, your readings are higher or the same? My fasting readings average around 113 and my 2hr after meals around 138. This is without any meds. The readings I have given you are based from jan to Sept 2010. So if I am to compare mine to yours, please my friend, do look at ways of dropping your blood glucose levels down. Homeopathic remedies are the ones that helped me reverse my diabetes and get me off all my meds but as homeopathy is a holistic form of treatment, there is no ONE SOLUTION for everyone. It is unique to the individual. All the best

I have been reading a lot about Cinnamon being effective at reducing blood sugar levels. Would be worth a try along with using homeopathy. The remedies Allox and Insulin are both for high blood sugar.
