Celabolin Helps Put A Stop To Arthritis Pain… In As Little As Half An Hour
Date: 12/04/11
With the passing years, many of us experience pain and inflammation in our joints. The name ‘arthritis’ actually refers to any acute or chronic abnormality of a joint as a result of inflammation. Degenerative joint disease (DJD) is the most common form of arthritis, in which the main problem is the breakdown of the cartilage that covers the ends of the bones.
Yet mainstream medicine has little to offer sufferers, as a survey carried out for Bupa in 2009 revealed. It concluded that UK health services are failing to meet the needs of millions of chronic joint pain sufferers, with a staggering 80 per cent still living with daily pain, despite following their recommended treatment.
Now, though, there’s a powerful natural supplement that not only helps relieve pain but also lubricates and restores mobility to your joints. It even encourages the re-growth of new cartilage.
Celabolin, from Life Natural Cures, combines the power of the natural neutriceutical product, Celadrin, with no less than eight other minerals and natural anti-inflammatories. These include zinc, copper and manganese, as well as yucca extract, resveratrol, hops, black pepper and the protein-digesting enzyme bromelain.
What impressed us most, here at HSI, is the sound, scientific research that backs up the formula.
Celadrin ‘switches off’ pain and stiffness in as little as 30 minutes
Celadrin, the key constituent of Celabolin, has taken America by storm, since we first brought it to your attention back in the May 2007 issue of HSI. It is one of the most effective natural anti-inflammatory compounds available, containing a unique blend of fatty acids. These are similar to, but far more effective than, EPA and DHA, the fatty acids found in health-enhancing fish oils.
What makes the naturally-occurring fatty acids in Celadrin so special is their chemical form, as cetylated or esterified fatty acids. Since the body has to convert fatty acids into this form in order to use them, Celadrin delivers their benefits faster and more effectively. This means that it can rapidly ‘switch off’ the processes that lead to joint inflammation, pain and cartilage degeneration. Celadrin also acts as a physical lubricant, allowing muscles and joints to move smoothly and painlessly.
In one clinical trial, when patients with chronic arthritis of the knee took Celadrin capsules or placebo for 10 weeks, the group taking Celadrin experienced significantly less pain than the placebo group as well, as much better joint flexibility and walking ability. Celadrin has also shown outstanding results when used as a topical cream by patients with osteoarthritis of the knee, reducing pain and stiffness in as little as 30 minutes after application.

Yucca extract works like COX-2 drugs to suppress inflammation… but without the side effects
Another key ingredient in the Celabolin formula is yucca, a medicinal plant native to Mexico. Yucca is a rich source of compounds called polyphenolics, which have anti-inflammatory activity. This is due in part to their ability to suppress the production of an enzyme called nitric oxide synthase, which promotes the formation of the inflammatory agent nitric oxide.
In addition, the polyphenolic compounds present in yucca act in the same way as a class of anti-inflammatory drugs called cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitors, by blocking the conversion of arachidonic acid (an essential fatty acid found in meat, eggs and dairy foods) into inflammation-causing prostaglandins.
Resveratrol, a compound in red grape skins, has been included as a component of Celabolin due to its potent anti-inflammatory properties. In an animal study in which resveratrol was administered to rabbits with induced inflammatory arthritis, it protected cartilage against the progression of the disease, showing its promise as a potential therapy for arthritis.
Bromelain, a protein-digesting enzyme found in pineapple plant stems, also possesses anti-inflammatory properties. It acts to relieve pain by blocking a number of different biochemical ‘pathways’ that result in inflammatory compounds, including tumour necrosis factor, interleukins and thromboxane. Bromelain also prevents inflammation resulting from over-activity of the immune system, by reducing the migration of white blood cells (neutrophils) to sites of inflammation.

Hop compounds can reduce inflammation as effectively as Celecoxib
Hops are well-known as a herbal sleeping aid but they have recently been discovered to have an anti-arthritis effect, too, thanks to their content of rho iso-alpha acids (RIAA), which block inflammatory processes in a number of ways. When researchers fed mice with induced arthritis RIAA for 2 weeks, joint damage and levels of inflammatory compounds were reduced as effectively as in mice given the COX-2 inhibitor drug Celecoxib.
According to recent research findings black pepper is able to reduce the perception of pain, inhibit inflammation, and combat arthritis. Piperine, the active phenolic compound in black pepper, blocks both the production of the inflammatory compound interleukin 6 and expression of the MMP13 gene, which is involved in the promotion of arthritis.
The minerals in Celabolin – zinc, copper and manganese – are important for anybody suffering from joint pain. Zinc is a vital component of an inflammation-fighting enzyme called superoxide dismutase, so if your zinc levels are low your body’s ability to combat inflammation may be compromised.
Copper bracelets have long been used as an alternative arthritis treatment and research has shown that the maintenance of healthy cartilage in joints is critically dependent on copper being available, along with other micronutrients. Manganese is important in the synovial fluid that bathes the joints in order to maintain the activity of an enzyme called arginase, which damps down the inflammatory activity of nitric oxide.
What to take for best results
The recommended dosage for Celabolin is three tablets a day, taken with meals, for the first two weeks. After that, you can move to the maintenance dose of two tablets a day. Along with the nutritional supplement, a topical cream is also available, to help relieve joint pain.
