Arthritis: How A Combination Of Cutting-Edge Technology And Ancient Herbal Wisdom Could Bring Much-Needed Relief From Arthritis
Mainstream medicine relies too heavily on prescription drugs and too readily dismisses natural therapies theres no arguing that. One of the reasons for this is consistency something that is often missing, especially from many herbal therapies.
One of the unwritten rules of science is that an experiment must be able to be duplicated with the same results in order for it to be considered a sound theory or a reliable remedy. Variability in quality, inconsistency of ingredients, and poor absorbency have led many to question the efficacy and quality of some natural alternative medicines.
One doctor has set out to change this. Prof Yun Kau Tam has developed a brand-new, cutting-edge technological process for providing consistency to natural herbal products. The name of this patented process is BioPhytoceutics and it may very well be the future of herbal medicine. It uses modern technological advances to overcome herbal medicines limitations and to formulate high integrity herbal ingredients so they maintain their consistency and achieve maximum absorbency.
The process blends the best of Eastern medicine and Western science for the most effective results possible from herbal formulas, including a powerful new arthritis remedy.
5 steps to unleashing Traditional Chinese Medicines healing potential
Most of the products Dr Tam has developed using BioPhytoceutics are based on the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) model of herbal therapies. However, he was initially very sceptical of TCM formulas because while their ingredient lists always include herbs well known for their healing potential he believed they suffered from three drawbacks.
The first being consistency. As already mentioned, the ingredients in many herbal formulas arent consistent, which means that the effects arent consistent from batch to batch or person to person. The second drawback is quality control. If herbs vary in source and quality, achieving the right ratios of active compounds necessary to provide consistent relief is next to impossible.
And, finally, theres the issue of finding an effective delivery system especially for topical preparations. Often they offer sub-optimal delivery methods; either theyre absorbed quickly, and get diluted in the bloodstream, or the ingredients arent effectively absorbed through the skin in the first place.
Dr Tam designed the Bio-Phytoceutics process specifically to address and overcome these three problems with five basic steps:
Step 1 involves choosing efficacious herbs to target specific conditions and/or symptoms.
Step 2 requires putting the herbal compounds into an appropriate delivery system, whether its an oral supplement or a topical cream or lotion.
Step 3 involves applying the formula. In order for any formula to have a beneficial effect, the active ingredients must pass through a barrier in your body either your skin (for a topical preparation) or your stomach (for an oral supplement). To mimic this process, Dr. Tam created artificial membranes including one he patented, called SimBioDAS, which simulates the bodys absorbing/filtering response to supplements.
Step 4 is to observe which compounds penetrate the barrier and get absorbed into the body. Once scientists know this, they can adjust the ratios of these particular compounds to increase the overall effectiveness of the formula.
Step 5 involves subjecting the narrowed list of absorbed compounds to pharmacological testing, which further ensures the consistency.
In a nutshell, the BioPhytoceutics process identifies which active ingredients in each herb are absorbable through the intestine or by the skin, then ensures that each dose of the resulting product contains guaranteed amounts of these active ingredients.
Changing arthritis treatment forever
Dr Tam knew that to get the word out about this new process, he had to show it in action. So he recently created a herbal preparation for arthritis called Arthroxin, that uses the BioPhytoceutics process, to demonstrate the technology.
Arthroxin was specifically developed to contain 16 herbs that address all five problem areas associated with arthritis: pain, poor blood circulation, blood stasis (slow blood flow), inflammation, and constricted tendons. All of these herbs were put to the test with the BioPhytoceutics process, and the dosage amount of each was established to provide maximum, safe relief in a minimum amount of time.
Flos Caryophylli, Pericarpium Zanthoxyli, and camphor target arthritis pain.
Rhizoma Chaunxiong, Rhizoma Corydalis, Cortex Cinnamoni, and Angelica promote blood circulation.
Rhizoma sparganii, Flos Carthami, and Myrrha eliminate blood stasis.
Radix Angelicase Pbercentis, Folium Clerondendrii, and Radix gentianae macrophyllae act as natural anti-inflammatory agents.
And Radix Cynanchi Paniculati and Olibanum help constricted, tightened tendons to relax.
Relief from pain experienced in as little as 2 days
It is important to realise that Arthroxin isnt a cure for arthritis. However, it may make the condition easier to live with. While the remedy is still too new to have any formal clinical trials behind it, those who have experienced its effects cant praise it enough.
Les Krenk, a pharmacist in Hawaii, says, I have never seen a product like this before. I will recommend it to anyone that comes in for non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is far safer for long-term use. I believe Arthroxin will become at least as popular and as important as glucosamine in the treatment of arthritis and joint pain. I will recommend it to all the orthopaedic surgeons in the area who have patients using NSAIDs, or glucosamine.
In addition, Dr Tam, who has file cabinets full of patient testimonials, came across the extraordinary case of an 80-year-old woman suffering from arthritis pain so severe that she would slam her hands against the wall to release endorphins and experience some minor pain relief. After two days of using Arthroxin she was pain free, and a week later she felt a noticeable difference in the mobility of her hands.
HSI promises to keep you fully updated on future research findings involving Arthroxin as soon as they become available.
What to take for best results
Arthroxin is a non-greasy ointment that is applied directly to the affected area twice a day or as needed. While you may experience pain relief and increased motility in a matter of minutes, in most cases it takes an average of four days before the full effect are noticed. In addition, you need to keep using Arthroxin to maintain these benefits.
