where good health comes naturally!

It is amazing how natural cures and medicines start to enjoy prime-time news slots and coverage, whereas a few years ago, it was still frowned upon and a few decades ago, my grandfather referred to it as witchery...

Recently Fox News in the US did a three-minute news slot on the ‘newly discovered’ health benefits of Holy Basil or Tulsi. Now we all know these benefits are nothing new, in fact the people of India have integrated Tulsi into their daily lives for the past 5 000 years. Tulsi is a principle herb of Ayurveda, India’s ancient holistic health system, which is now gaining ground in the West.

Daily dose of goodness

Tulsi's powerful general adaptogenic properties offer significant preventative and healing potential with respect to the stress-related degenerative diseases prevalent in modern society.

Relatively unknown in the West, the holy basil Tulsi is certain to emerge in the near future as a major player in the growing field of herbal health supplements and medicines, both in daily self-care and in professionally managed health care systems.

A simple way to start having your daily dose of goodness is by starting your day with a cup of Tulsi Tea, an infusion made with either dry or fresh Tulsi leaves. It will definitely be a healthier wake-up call than coffee...

Does anyone know if Tulsi it is safe to take with a multivitamin tablet. Since Tulsi contains Vit A and a Vit A should not be taken in excessive amounts I'm a bit worried about overdosing.
