Has Your Child Had Their Cocktail of Toxins Yet?
Date: 30/12/10
Recently the UK’s interim Chief Science Officer, Professor Dame Sally Davies advised that children aged 12-13 months should have three vaccinations at one appointment. These include: a booster jab for H. influenza type B and meningitis C (Hib/MenC) infections; the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine; and the pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) for S. pneumonia infections.
Now, that sounds like a loaded cocktail that I, for one, would not want to have all in one go — let alone give to an infant...
Is it really the safest option?
I find it extremely worrying that one of the government’s leading medical advisors thinks that a baby’s undeveloped immune system can cope effectively with six different vaccine-borne pathogens all at the same time. Additionally, the baby’s immune system will also have to respond to mercury and other chemicals in the formulation.
Imagine six disease-causing organisms, combined with a bundle of stabilising substances used to enhance vaccines, as a first-year birthday present?
Common sense should tell our so-called ‘experts’, that during a baby’s first years its immune system already struggles to develop a natural immunity against bugs picked up from the environment. Adding strain with a concoction of toxins simply seems illogical... let alone wise.
It’s no wonder many parents are left feeling worried, confused and ill-advised.
The alarming truth is, there is no adequate medical research that backs-up any of the ‘safety claims’ for these loaded vaccinations... including the latest 6-in-one concoction.
Zero!
None of the policy makers have based any of their recommendations on studies which, for instance, examined the side effects in children given one or multiple vaccines at the same time; or studies of vaccine reactions in children born prematurely compared to those born full-term; or results showing the effects of vaccines in children with co- existing infections and compromised immunity; or even long- term, detailed studies on children subjected to full vaccination schedules versus unvaccinated children.
Zero!
These studies do not exist!
Risky business
Dr Andrew Wakefield, a UK gastroenterologist, is one of the most outspoken critics against vaccine safety. You may remember that the witch-hunt against Wakefield, headed up by the UK’s General Medical Council, aimed to bring the man down. It didn’t go after the science directly.
In his book ‘Callous Disregard’ he gives a detailed account of the safety studies that had been performed on the MMR vaccine in 1998, which had sparked controversy after the respected UK medical journal, The Lancet, claimed that Autism can be caused by the MMR vaccine.
According to Dr. Wakefield, the safety studies on childhood vaccines, like MMR, are laughable with little or no evidence to refute any safety concerns people may have...
Furthermore, Wakefield also describes how there is a lot more at play during the decision-making process of pushing forward childhood vaccination strategies... Politics and economics often seem to have the upper-hand over benefits and safety.
Dr. Wakefield’s story doesn’t end happy. For exposing the truth he was hounded from his position at the Royal Free Hospital in London, and later from his country, by the UK medical establishment and a biased media... and while his comments only relate to the MMR vaccine, there have been no comprehensive studies carried out on the safety of the Hib/MenC or PCV vaccines so far.
The fact that there simply are no studies available to allow proper risk or benefit evaluation does not make parents’ decisions any easier. Neither are there sufficient studies to show the risks and benefits for partial or full vaccination – or even no vaccinating...
All of this makes the government’s current forceful recommendation even more ominous... especially if you see, year after year, how vaccines are developed and then pushed on to Joe Public – in some cases even becoming a mandatory requirement. At what cost and for whose benefit?
